Deployment checklist

  • Confirm tenant is onboarded in Longwave
  • Define pilot endpoint group
  • Confirm policy baseline is assigned
  • Prepare rollback and exception handling plan
  • Confirm reporting access for implementation and customer success teams

Rollout steps

Prepare deployment package

Retrieve the latest deployment package from the Longwave tenant dashboard.

Publish through RMM or MDM

Push through your standard software deployment profile and cadence.

Validate installation health

Confirm the agent is active, endpoint heartbeat is healthy, and policy config has synced.

Monitor first 48 hours

Track install success, policy events, and help desk feedback before widening the rollout.
Start with a pilot group that includes both technical users and business users. This gives you better signal when tuning policy behavior.

Go to /security-agent/policy-enforcement to configure filtering and redaction rules for production.
