Use this page when you click Add tenant in Longwave. You have two onboarding paths:

Security Agent (recommended)

Full production onboarding for policy enforcement, endpoint rollout, and ongoing analytics.

Assessment only

Read-only Microsoft Entra onboarding for a readiness report without endpoint rollout.
Use Security Agent onboarding for long-term customer value. Use assessment-only onboarding for discovery or pre-sales conversations.

Security Agent onboarding

Create tenant and select Security Agent

In Longwave, choose Add tenant, enter tenant details, and select Security Agent.

Assign policy baseline

Attach a default AI use policy for pilot users. You can refine blocked tools, redaction rules, and exceptions after rollout.

Deploy through RMM or MDM

Download or copy the deployment package and push it through your existing RMM or MDM workflow.

Validate telemetry and policy actions

Confirm endpoints are reporting, model detections are appearing, and policy events are being logged.

Assessment-only onboarding

Use this path when a customer wants a readiness snapshot before committing to full agent rollout.

Create tenant and select AI Readiness Assessment

Choose Add tenant and select the assessment product.

Grant read-only Microsoft Entra access

Ask a tenant admin to approve read-only permissions so Longwave can collect Microsoft posture and policy signals.

Run the assessment

Most assessments complete in 5-10 minutes. In some environments, Microsoft API latency can increase runtime.

Review the readiness report

Use the report to identify policy gaps, data risk concerns, and the recommended path to Security Agent enforcement.
Assessment-only onboarding is not intended as a standalone long-term deployment. Plan to transition qualified tenants to Security Agent rollout.
